Subscription & Refund Policy
This Policy governs payments, cancellations, and refunds for the OmniVid Service.
1. Plans & Billing Cycle
We offer three subscription tiers—Starter, Pro, and Ultimate—each available on monthly or annual billing cycles. Every combination grants a different quota of credits, storage space, support level, and (where applicable) commercial-use rights. Full benefit details are displayed on the Pricing page and may change with 15-days' notice.
We also offer one-time credit packs that do not auto-renew.
2. Auto-Renewal & Cancellation
All subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle. By subscribing, you authorize OmniVid to charge your payment method at the then-current rate on each renewal date.
You may cancel auto-renewal at any time through Settings → Billing in your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period—you retain access to your plan benefits until that date.
If you do not cancel before the renewal date, you are deemed to have agreed to continue the subscription for the next billing cycle, and the renewal charge is non-refundable.
3. Plan Upgrades
Only subscription plans may be upgraded. Downgrades are not supported for any plan type.
To upgrade, purchase a higher-tier subscription or one-time credit pack, then email both your new order ID and original order ID to [email protected]. We will process a full refund for your original order, subject to the following conditions:
- Processing fees are non-refundable. Refunds do not include payment platform fees such as transaction fees and refund fees charged by third-party payment providers.
- Monthly subscriptions: Only the current month's fee will be refunded.
- Annual subscriptions: The refund will be prorated based on unused credits. See Section 5.2 for the detailed pro-rated calculation method.
4. Promotional Credits
New accounts do not receive free credits by default. From time to time we may run promotions or events that grant complimentary credits to newly registered users. Please watch the website announcements for such offers.
5. Refund Eligibility
5.1 Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable once purchased, regardless of usage.
5.2 Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscribers may request a refund subject to the pro-rated deduction rules described below. The refund window closes 30 days before the subscription's renewal date.
Pro-Rated Refund Calculation
Annual plan credits are issued in full at the time of purchase. Refund amounts are calculated based on actual usage as follows:

Activated Months – Any usage (even partial) within a calendar month counts as one full activated month. If you have used the Service at all, the minimum is 1 activated month.

Credit Consumption Ratio – We calculate the percentage of base credits consumed. Bonus credits are excluded from this calculation.
Consumption Ratio = Credits Consumed ÷ (Total Annual Credits − Bonus Credits)

Deduction Method – We apply whichever produces the higher deduction:
- Method A (Consumption-based): Annual Price × Consumption Ratio
- Method B (Month-based): Standard Monthly Price of the same plan × Activated Months

Processing Fees – The payment processor's original collection fee and any refund processing fee are deducted. Fee rates vary by provider (e.g., Creem charges 3.9% + $0.40 per transaction). These fees are non-refundable as they are charged by third-party payment providers.

Refund Amount = Annual Price − Higher Deduction (A or B) − Processing Fees
Worked Example
Plan: Pro Annual — $948.00/year (standard monthly price: $99.00/month) Credits issued: 147,000 total (128,800 base + 18,200 bonus)
Scenario: A user requests cancellation after 50 days, having consumed 15,000 credits.
Step 1 — Activated Months: 50 days spans 2 calendar months → 2 activated months.
Step 2 — Consumption Ratio: 15,000 ÷ 128,800 (base credits only, bonus excluded) = ≈ 11.6%.
Step 3 — Compare two deduction methods:
- Method A (Consumption-based): $948.00 × 11.6% = $109.97
- Method B (Month-based): $99.00 × 2 months = $198.00
- We take the higher value: $198.00
Step 4 — Processing Fees (assuming Creem at 3.9% + $0.40):
- Original collection fee: $948.00 × 3.9% + $0.40 = $37.37
- Refund processing fee (charged by processor): ≈ $1.00
Step 5 — Refundable Amount: $948.00 − $198.00 − $37.37 − $1.00 = $711.63
5.3 One-Time Credit Packs
One-time credit pack purchases are non-refundable.
5.4 Other Refundable Situations
Accidental Duplicate Charges – If you were charged twice by mistake, we offer a full refund of the duplicate charge. Please email us within 7 days of the duplicate charge.
Continuous Service Outages – If our Service experiences an outage lasting more than 24 consecutive hours, we may provide partial refunds or credit extensions at our discretion.
5.5 When Refunds Are Not Available
- Dissatisfaction with Output Quality – Due to the inherent variability in AI-generated content, we do not offer refunds based solely on dissatisfaction with the quality of generated videos.
- Unused Credits or Minutes – We do not provide refunds solely for unused balance or remaining subscription time on monthly plans.
- Auto-Renewal Charges – If you did not cancel before the renewal date, the renewal charge is non-refundable.
6. How to Request
Email [email protected] from your registered address and include:
- Order ID
- Reason for the request
- Desired resolution (refund or credit)
We respond within 3–5 business days. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method; banks may take up to 10 business days to reflect the funds.
7. Chargebacks
Before initiating a chargeback, you must contact us. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in account termination.
8. Policy Changes
We may revise this Policy from time to time; the latest version always applies. Material changes will be announced 15 days in advance.
